Portland, Ore., March 8, 2018 – Unitus has installed a brand new loan and account origination system to reduce friction points and improve the member experience.
Launched in December 2017, the new system successfully combined what had been two distinct systems into one. The new interface provides a more efficient, intuitive experience for members applying for loans or Unitus membership.
On the backend, it interfaces more smoothly with the credit union’s core system, Episys.

To help with the transition, Unitus selected and trained 15 employees to beta test the software, continuously redesigning the workflow to match real-life member needs.
This group included employees from almost every Unitus branch and department so that whenever a member would have a question, they wouldn’t be far from a subject matter expert.
